I had difficulty left-shoulder checking with my S40 because my left-shoulder check almost totally blocked by the form head-set and frame of the left doors.
I had attached a convex on my gone exterior mirror but the image is too small to see clearly.
I had my left-shoulder check whenever doing moved out lane changing, but I was habitually honked back to my lane.
I tried to buy a ''LaneChanger'' or 'blind-spot eliminator' but they would NOT fit my S40 rear-view mirror. (New S80 has 'blind-spot eliminator' which is factory-build-in.)
WOuld you please endow with me some advice?
I've have had some of my customers installed those little rectangle shaped mirrors on their cars so that they don't own to worry about blind spots and they own said that they are working.
Answers: Adjust your side view mirrors correctly, this will abet you with the blind spots, added benefit is that at night you will not hold lights reflecting into your eyes.
I agree about the small image contained by convex mirrors, this is why PROPERLY adjusted side view mirrors are essential. If you don't get rear seat passenger take the rear commander rests out till you get used to the mirrors, it seems to facilitate.
