I've seen a verity of behavior form drivers when an emergency vehicle approaches near lights/sirens on. Some is just down right harmful. (ie: slamming on the brakes and pulling over on an interstate) This is a multi part cross-question. In the following situations, which is proper/legal?
a. Divided highway, emergency vehicle approaches on the other side of the median, in the converse direction you are traveling?
b. Multi-lane interstate, emergency vehicle approaches from behind (same direction you're traveling)
I've other been told, on a divided highway, no entail to pull over since they are on the other side of the median going contained by the opposite direction as you, and you aren't going to impede them within any way, and on an interstate, move over to the far most right lane available but don't verbs over or stop unless they get losing you (indicating you are the reason they are signaling)
What's proper/legal, please site your answer.
