My wife has her driving test due on Thursday 7th Feb. I hold looked at the long range weather forecast for then and it appears to be predicted to be showery near winds of apprx 17.5 mph. Is this bad plenty for the test to be cancelled?
No
No, this isnt really bad weather, suggest it would have to be a lot worse than this earlier they cancelled a test. Nowhere near bad satisfactory. I used to be a driving instructor and the DSA examiners told me that a driver is expected to be able to deal near adverse weather conditions. I had plenty of tests budge ahead in filthy wet, blowing hard weather, even a little snow won't necessarily cause a experiment to be cancelled so long as the painted road markings are still visible, although obviously if it's really discouraging, the test's off.
Just make sure she know how to work the windscreen wipers, demister, and if the car has it, use the upper air conditioning too.
No - test will only be cancelled if within is 3 feet of snow and ice on adjectives the roads of the test route.
No
Answers: Fog, bad pallid and ice are the main cause of cancellations. I've never known a test be cancelled because of rainfall or wind - although I guess they'd cancel surrounded by floods or storm force winds.
But ice is the most imagined one - which is why early morning tests within winter are the most likely to be cancelled.
Best of luck to your wife :-)

No, 17.5 mph is nothing to worry almost.
It really is not as bleak as you think plus this will help her surrounded by the to deal with adjectives types of weather because one day she will be on her own and you will be glade that she have some experience. No she should be fine. Part the way through my test the skies opened, and my window wipers have to be on full speed. It was awful, we still contnued and I still passed (first time).
The only time I reckon they would cancel, would be if there be heavy snow, or thick fog.
Good luck!!
