I have 2001 Mitsubishi Galant. My reins size is P195/65R15. A friend of mine wants to administer me two tires with rims but they are P195/60R15. I be wondering whether or not I should still be able to use the two up to date tires with the other tires I enjoy on their already and will the size difference create any problems.
He had them because his wife have a 2002 Galant but got a fresh car after her bought the tires already. He also said I should put them within the front, but I didn't ask why and I don't know much about cars.
Any sustain would be great.
65 is the side wall height and since the side wall is shorter it will give somebody a lift more revolutions to go like peas in a pod distance thus making your speedometer off a bit.
the only difference would be if you put them on the front, since it is a front helm drive car, when your speedometer read 60mph you will actually be going 58mph. if you put them on the put a bet on your speedometer will still be correct. you should be able to use them its merely up to you weather you want to put them on the front of back.
In tire sizes such as P195/65R15, all the parcels and numbers mean something.
P system that it's a P-metric
195 is the width of the tire (metric surrounded by mm)
65 is the height of the sidewall (metric surrounded by mm)
R means that it's a radial tire
15 is the diameter of the helm in inches (or rim as most individuals call them)
Since your ordinary tires have a 65mm sidewall, and the other tires enjoy a 60mm sidewall, there is solely a 5mm difference between the two (which is only slightly more than 1/2" overall).
I don't consider there would be a problem near them, but then again, I'm not a tire expert.
The judgment that he said to put them on the front, is that since they are not as "tall" as the others and therefore would fit and run better on the front.
If you don't discern comfortable taking his word for it, then progress to your local tire dealer and ask them how much of a difference it would formulate doing that size substitution.
Answers: you have anti lock brakes on that coup¨¦ it is recommended all 4 tires are impossible to tell apart size so the sensors will read correctly
if he gives you adjectives 4 you will be OK
tire is the correct spelling shelly needs to swot up to spell
