How much would it cost to paint my silver bullet caddy with a coat of rader-absorbing paint used by the DOD? Would it be immune from the pigs radar gun?
Answers: mythbusters did a show on this impressively thing beside a variety of ways to supposedly 'spoof' chippy radar. they used an actual chp radar element.
result was.......nought worked. radar absorbing paint is also very beefy. if u think ur caddy is a gas pig presently, it will reduce mileage even more. mythbusters even tried 'chaff', and that didnt work.
purely fyi, any and all attempts to conserve or otherwise spoof police radar is illegal. if u are caught...and u would be caught eventually...u'll turn up drawing prison time. if u dont want heat from the po-po's, stay at the speed shorten. otherwise, its yer dime homes.
