Registration Question?

I recently purchased a saloon and was wondering if it can be underneath my dad's name and my label even thought i dont have my license but i do hold my permit and im gonna clutch the driving test subsequent week does anyone know if i could thanks

Answers: It would depend on what state you are within.

First many states will require that you own your drivers license before you can register your coup��. So it would probably be better to discuss that with the DMV after you go and get your license.

Second you are almost certainly going to want insurance, before you can register your vehicle. With no driving history, It's going to be hard for you to grasp insurance. If you do find insurance, it's going to cost you a lot of money.

If you could convince your dad to put the saloon in his pet name, and add it to his insurance policy. With you tabled as a second driver, and you paying him for the extra cost. You would probably save abundantly of money.
