Rules for roundabouts contained by the UK?

I've checked the Highway Code but it's a bit vague on this one. If going straight on (second exit) at a roundabout and in attendance are two lanes on the roundabout approach, which lane should I be within? I say it's the moved out hand lane. My brother say it's either lane, my husband say it's the right hand lane and the Highway Code states it's the 'appropriate' lane. I reckon here must be a fixed rule about this - I'm surrounded by the UK after all and we love our rules! Can anyone point me contained by the right direction?

Have you ever had your car "written...

Answers:    Unless road markings say otherwise - approach within and maintain the disappeared hand lane.

It is not against the law to use the right hand lane - you can use this one if the approach to the roundabout is busy to preserve traffic flowing.

Basically - right hand lane are only for turning right or overtaking - so you would single use a right hand lane to move about straight on if there be a queue on the left!

If you are study to drive, then plainly stick to the left foot lane no matter how big a queue or you can find yourself surrounded by all sorts of bother exiting the roundabout near traffic cutting you up on the inside! Also - why would a learner be overtaking (in the right paw lane) approaching a roundabout?

Do i have need of to wear...
