I'm not going to say that you are going to live a longer time because that depends on the safety of yourself and others. By placing yourself contained by situations that are less risky you can conciensely mute the amount of risk. The other part of the picture is severity. Some risks result surrounded by less severe outcomes than others. It's similar to the difference between driving 120 mph everywhere you go and file paperwork...If you drive 120mph the risk is a lot greater than if you drive the speed limit and the severity if you be in an incident could be catastrophic. If you are file paperwork the risk you could get a papercut is pretty low...and the severity is subsequent to nothing...
