I just drove to Denver Colorado from san diego CA
the weather be great no problems .
About 180 miles to Denver i saw lots of signs use snowchains
if lights are flashing mandatory 500.00 fines enforced
I was lucky that the waether be great i didint have anny chains i never used them.
anny one know the law on this? If it had be inforced and i been stoped what would enjoy happened get a ticket for 500.00? not alowed to contiune?
I have to drive spinal column ill be buying some chians .
also how long can i drive next to them on? am told that chains damage your coup¨¦.

You'll only want to drive on your chains when really necessary. You don't want to step over 20 MPH with them on any.
If they do stop you and you are with out chains, they'll probabally simply make you lurk out the storm. If they have to verbs you out of a ditch or you cause an twist of fate because you are with-out chains, then they will fine you.
If you've never driven beside chains my suggestion is rather than buy chains, buy a hotel room and hang about it out if possible.
