Because people have forgotton that filter lane are for filtering into the traffic that is on the raod already.To several drivers either treat it as getting on the road as quickly as possible therefore casuing people already on the motorway to enjoy to slow down or swerve to miss an accident

She was complaining in the future about inconsiderate drivers on a nearby dual carriageway. She said she have been trying to join the busy prime road from a slip road. She stopped at the 'give way' markings where it aligned the dual carriageway (HER words, honestly) but no one would let her out so she did a three-point-turn and drove final up the slip road and came home.
How frightening is that?? She had passed her driving assessment after many attempts a couple of months earlier.
Maybe because the morons coming up the motorway don`t move over into the outside lane to agree to the traffic filter in thus the driver has to start from score speedwise - either that or force their way onto the inside lane cause oncoming drivers to brake/swerve!!

See that big wide dashed row along the edge of the slip road - that means that traffic on the leading carriageway has right of way. Merging traffic is supposed to game speed, then filter in to a suitable opening.
Somehow merging traffic seems to get right of road, and god help you if you're in the hurried lane if one of these suicidal 'good samaritans' decides to move into your lane at 20mph smaller quantity than you.

Answers: Because drivers in this stupid country get no training contained by how to drive. They are taught simply to pass the driving assessment. Have you noticed how many Instructors when driving enjoy no clue whatsoever what they are doing. I have at on at least 5 occasion asked these drivers why the are driving without an instructor
