I find myself speeding up to the speed that I see on the next speed restraint sign- but yet, i find myself not pressing my brakes until i grasp up to the slower speed sign.. not before, but at the column.. Should police pull you over for this?
No, police would'nt work with that style of speed!
technically yes - but your more likely to achieve caught by a dude with a foot held camera than pulled over - police tend to position themselves to catch citizens just as they come into smaller speed bound areas - so if you enter a 30 at 45 they will get you etc.

I know in Washington State, when the speed contain is reduced on a highway, you will have a sign unfolding you that a speed reduction is coming up. You will enjoy between 1/4 and a 1/2 mile to lower your speed. In most cases, I just see the cruise control out and reset it when I reach the different speed limit.
