what headlight bulbs are legal within the uk,i would like my headlights bright as posible but want to stay lawful,i have see some, xenon 100 watt with a blue tint,xenon 55 watt beside a blue tint,xenon 100 watt and 55 watt without the blue tint,afterwards there is the defence of main rafter,any help gratefulness.

this area is a mine pen, basically, if its a relocate from the original specification next you may fall foul, of the Construction and Use regulations. A traffic officer, stated that headlights have to be white (ok if it had a small blue tint) and be not to cause dazzle to other motorists, which is a point of vision.
you could pop into a MOT testing station / Garage, and ask near opinion, or better would be to, ring VOSA, these guys enforce the imperative, knowing more than the local police. (type vosa in google for details)
But please tolerate in mind the extra wattage will bring extra heat within the headlight and load on the electrical system, and could head to a few complications, but seek support first, then you cant move about wrong.
