I had forensic officers out examining my sports car last night (it be broken into on boxing day - rapid response time eh??)
They be telling me about how masses people leave their sit nav's etc under the seat/ in the glove box!
They also give me a tip (not that I have a sat nav!) not to even set off the cradle for a sat nav on show and if there are sucker results on the window - remove them!
Honestly though would you leave your sit nav in the car??
yes i would, and i do. next again i have left crime ridden britain and no longer hold to nail everything down, i do not even have to lock my sports car. peace.
no its asking for trouble.!!! Just because YOU live within a high-crime area, don't pin that crap on the rest of us.
My SatNav is sitting on my desk right now, but one and only because the truck I was using it in be recently sold. Before that, it was mounted resting on the instrument panel in plain view for over three years, and I never have a problem. When my next truck is ready to progress to work, I will put it back in the truck and set out it there.
No way. I dont enjoy one, but if i did i certainly wouldnt leave it surrounded by there.
I don't assume to many people would give them in car one-sidedly. Sounds like your local officers where on earth reading way to much into this, they need to monitor some more CSI.

My friend leaves her under the drivers form. She's never used it coz she's so useless she can't figure it out. Doesn't matter how heaps times you tell her it's unsafe, it's still sat in that. I wouldn't even leave a packet of tissues in the vehicle in this day and age.

What's near the 2 sports car diamond...
I just get my GPS and have removed it from my truck everytime I have be home. I also remove my satellite radio. This won't stop anyone from breaking into my truck but at least they won't steal those two items! As for home, the car is within the garage, the pickup doesn't have anything to steal in it, and my neighbor is a State Police Officer! Thieves that are too laid-back to get a job and earn their money will steal anything they estimate they can sell. It is a shame we can't let our doors unlocked.Overdrive rotten contained by slippery weather?
