The media has be giving a lot of attention to an incident involving a a car near 3 men in it pulled over on the side of the road. A man (passerby) saw the hazard lights on the vehicle and granted he would stop to help. As he was getting out of his sports car the 3 men jumped him and beat him.
Would you stop to comfort someone that's pulled over on the side of the road?
What would explain the 3 men's behaviour?
What message does it give the public?
that's so unfortunte that people would lug advantage of someones kindness so vicously.
i don't surmise anything can explain their behavior, i hate blaming things on the parents but how is it that people are brought up surrounded by an environment that condones this type of actions.
and as far as the message it sends the public, well aren't you going to believe twice before stopping to help someone? i be always taught not to stop unless it's daylight out, a in good health surrounded area or you know them. besides in most areas and immediately a days, people have cell phones to phone up for help, or if it's on the highway an officer will be along to assist them.
No, because being a woman near two kids, I need to be cautious of who I encounter.
Although, when I have car trouble and sat on the curb until my mom come to my rescue, many people stopped to ask me if I needed give support to and I appreciated it so much.
If I really wanted to help them within some way, I would have pulled up beside them and asked them if they needed a phone and consent to them borrow mine.
The men probably planned to jump whoever tried to help them-some gang do stuff like that.
The message that this story is sending to the public is not to trust anyone.
Because things like that up, is exactly why I don't stop!
drugs and alcohol would explain the men's behavior and the message it would give the public is that our country wants to be nicer..it also shows that people shouldn't stop and be nice to help others... :(
That's what I do.
Jump me? Not stirring. I know where the back door is.
The finishing people I stopped for were awfully grateful for the tow truck I called at 2 am.
I can't/won't try to explain the actions of someone I never met.
The public will pick up single what it wants. These days it's usually the negative. Remember the song "Dirty Laundry"?
I can solitary guess that the three men were from some gang. Personally, I would call 911 or local police to agree to them know that there is a car surrounded by the break down lane and to have someone check it out.
If you didnt want to verbs over and help at least ring the police.
just think if it be you.
1. i would not help some one on the side of the road because 2. you can never know what those people are up to, seem like that was their plan, to look helpless and consequently backfire it on someone else so 3. it just goes to show you that not a soul can be trusted ,especially strangers
if i had a bat and some aggression skills then yes, plus it depends how big they are if they are puny migits of course i would skirmish them, but if they are huge mongo bikers Yeah right!
they might ave been drunk or just punks
the world is a startling place

If you see something suspicious, better off to call the cops and hold them investigate. Atleast they have guns to deal near the bad guys.
As a woman, no I wouldn't stop to help anyone I didn't authorize. It just isn't safe. Especially since I own my kids in the car most of the time.
I would own (and have), however, called the police and let them know if it looked close to a vehicle needed help.
Yes I would have pulled over to oblige. But I am a pretty big guy. I do not recommend my wife to pull over. Also the media loves the unenthusiastic because that's what people remember.
I help relations all the time but it is never on the news. My friends hold helped me and that was not on the report. We live in a negative medium entrenched society.
As for the 3 men... they suck1
As for the message it tells me that they suck!
I am sure it tells everyone else not to verbs over... sad.

Answers: Never stop...especially in the present day. With cell phones so readily available, you call the police.
Drugs and alcohol are probably the biggest reason there are so many assaults and murders. Got to nurture the habit no matter the cost.
Message to public..the judicial system isn't doing it's living.
We need to have stiffer penalty for people who break the law.
An eye for an eye would distribute a message to be reckoned with if initiated correctly. Why is it that we protect and sometimes even reward the guilty beside more privileges than working law abiding citizens?

Sorry but No, I would hold called 911.
The legal problems and hounding faced by the people trying to help out accident and or stranded victims is enough to deter even the most conscientious citizens!
Drugs or lately for kicks would be my guess at why they did this.
The message.don't stop.
As a female, I'd enjoy to say no, I wouldn't stop to help, but I would phone up the police and send them help. There is like mad of anger and unhappiness in this world. I assume most of it is due to money and greed. As far as the public's view, I'd have to enunciate that is puts fear and mistrust contained by to all of us. Unfortunantly we have to progress through life afraid and unwilling to help others because at hand are unruley people in this world. *sigh*
