I defintely try my best to avoid them. They will mess your car up.
they are HORRIBLE within our area---the snowplows dig up the pavement, the salt eat the asphalt and then BAM, there go your rim!
I try to avoid them
I have a Hummer so i cant even tell when i hit them.and yes here are alot here in VA.
Here within Michigan, we have potholes all year long. On several roads, you can't avoid potholes. You just have to slow down and drive over them. Unfortunatly, whether you do 70mph over them or 25mph over them, you're gonna hold to replace suspension components more often.
Though, I do like winter on the side roads because the snow fill in the potholes :)
I do and I just drive slower and avoid them as best as possible. I usually swerve to avoid them, unless there is another vehicle in the way... after I have to take them!
yeah.and later the construction season to fix them too.ugh. I try not to swerve too much, but then again I hate when they a short time ago bump my car so deep!

Answers: I definitely don't similar to potholes. They're not good for your suspension over the long run and will mess up your alignment. I generally try to avoid them if I can.

I love the wet season, esp here in so cal, but I do hate potholes. I guess here within the dense cities you can't have one without the other. The times that I hold driven over them I thought they didn't look too deep...then I found out why I abhorrence them.yes..and yes..whew..your deep
