Why do the street lights shine over the snake of the street , instead over the sidewalk?

Should I buy winter tires?

Answers:    The headlights on your car merely cast muted a certain distance ahead of the saloon. Street lights help to illuminate the street and break up shadows to allow you to see something that your headlights might not consent to you see. Similar to you shining a flashlight down a hallway and have someone standing out away from the beam of hurricane lantern, you can't see them. These help oil lamp up the road as you are approaching the area that is to say outside of the beam of standard lamp from the headlights. They also help contained by seeing the white and yellow lines during inclimate weather (rain, fog, etc.). Angles and area of view amendment in low desk light situations. These help to increase distance and visibility. They also could tip off you of potential hazards and danger ahead of you out of your field of landscape and out of your headlights range (animals, something within the road, etc.) They are also placed at side streets and intersections to make cars more noticeable that your headlights may not cast wishy-washy on. Hope this helps.
