in nascar they hold windshield tear rotten sheets, these would be great for conditions around here- bugs on windshields are extremely hard to remove-these should be manufactured for street cars.. they would relieve -alot!
Answers: I agree... they would be cool- There are a few companies out there working on the concept. From what I fathom out, they are prone to scratching glibly (wipers, washing,etc.) They are not cost influential at this point. I imagine if you lived surrounded by a dry place (AZ TX or NM) maybe they would ultimate longer than other places. There are some chemical coatings such as rainx, aquapel, diamond fusion, etc. that helps near both keeping bugs from sticking, and also dirt, rain, snow. etc.
